چکیده مقاله:
Rare earth elements (REEs) and heavy metals (HM) cause various ecological and environmental problems. The objective of this study is to monitor and screen soil pollution with rare metals and heavy metals. To achieve to this goal and to optimize soil sampling and content determine, soil lab equipment are employed.
These elements are valuable in terms of recycling for industrial usages. In particular, electronical companies have a big interest to recover the rare metals. Previous and actual remediation land technologies is based on the expensive engineering methods and essentially are not focused on green recovery of the lands. Among several physico-chemical processes, biological recovery is one of the most cost-effective and environmentally benign technologies to recover these precious compounds and also alleviate problems associated with their uncontrolled release to the environment. However, it is difficult for plants to survive in polluted tailings. In this regard, soil microorganisms like arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can provide beneficial symbioses to its host plant and has widely adopted for the recovery of the degraded ecosystems polluted by metals. On the other hand, little is known about whether AMF plays role in facilitating the sequestration of these metals. The objective of this proposal is to investigate the metals uptake including REEs by phytoremediation techniques when plants are inoculated with AMF. Moreover, the present work is also investigating relations between contents of metals in soil and their accumulation in different morphological parts of plants.
